Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal S.A. is the main private employer in the area of Braga, with around 2500 associates. Recognized for its know-how, the plant produces a wide-ranging portfolio of electronic products, mainly navigation systems and car radios to the automotive industry. According to the Portuguese Statistics Institute (INE - Instituto Nacional de Estatística), Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal S.A. was the 6th national exporter in 2010.

The plant has a Research & Development department, an Electronic Service and a Centre of Bosch IT and Electronic Services, both responsible for Iberia. Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal S.A. is also a Competence Centre for the European market.
